The first inclusive Italian pasta lab in Madeira

PastaDI is a social and artisanal project born with a clear mission: to bring artisanal Italian pasta to the tables of Madeira, crafted locally using traditional Italian methods, the finest grains, and deep respect for both people and ingredients.

Every tagliatella, raviolo, and fusillo produced at PastaDI carries a dual meaning. It represents the authentic taste of Italian culinary tradition, and the power of inclusion — because when everyone has a place at the table, life truly tastes better.

At the heart of our business lies a commitment to social impact. PastaDI was created to offer people with intellectual disabilities something essential: the dignity of work and the opportunity to build an independent and meaningful future. By bringing together people eager to grow, learn, and integrate into society, and by providing them with a fully equipped artisanal pasta laboratory, high-quality raw materials, and the guidance of skilled professionals, PastaDI transforms training into real professional opportunities. The result is exceptional handmade pasta, prepared according to traditional recipes and filled with pride, care, and purpose.

PastaDI is currently in the making. Our pasta machines are being crafted in Italy, our flour supplier is ready to ship our carefully selected Italian grains, and our architect is designing the space that will soon become our laboratory and workshop. We’re working towards opening soon. stay tuned!

PastaDI is not just a pasta lab.

It is the new reference for artisanal pasta in Madeira.
